20 years of marriage our celebration at Las Vegas
Memories that we will cherish for a lifetime
We are thrilled to share the highlights of our unforgettable trip to Las Vegas, where Vidhya and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Our journey was filled with awe-inspiring sights, delicious food, and moments of reflection and joy.
Here’s a recap of our incredible adventure.
Embracing Natural Wonders
Our first day began with a stop at the iconic Hoover Dam Photo Stop. Standing at this marvel of engineering, we felt a deep appreciation for human ingenuity. The dam's sheer size and the panoramic views of the Colorado River were simply breathtaking.

Next, we embarked on the Grand Canyon West Ultimate Tour. The drive through the Joshua Tree Forest and Black Mountains was a serene and mesmerizing experience. Upon arriving at the Grand Canyon, we visited Eagle Point and Guano Point. Photos and words can’t describe the sheer vastness and beauty of the valley; it was spellbinding. The vastness of the canyon humbled us, reminding us of how small we are in the grand scheme of nature.

The raw beauty and tranquility of the landscape left us in awe.
We also visited the Indian Village, where we gained insight into the rich cultural heritage of the Native American tribes. It was a poignant reminder of the deep connection between nature and indigenous cultures.
Exploring the Vibrant Las Vegas Strip & the FOOD!
On our second day, we took a leisurely walk through the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Our first stop was the Bellagio, where we marveled at the stunning fountains and beautiful gardens. The grandeur of Caesars Palace and the modern elegance of the Cosmopolitan added to the excitement of our stroll.

The highlight of the day was, of course, the food. We enjoyed two small lunches, a pleasant deviation and absolutely necessary as we came across restaurants of two of my favorite chefs. The first course featured a delicious young coconut ceviche and pork dumplings at Noodles & Tacos by Chef José Andrés. For the second course, we indulged in decadent pork croquettes and shoyu pork ramen at Momofuku by Chef David Chang. It was a delicious indulgence.

In the evening, we experienced the Fremont Street Experience, a vibrant and energetic display of lights and sounds. The Viva Vision light show was a dazzling spectacle that left us mesmerized.

Reflecting on Our Journey
This was our first vacation together in USA after a long time. We created everlasting memories, and to our delight, we managed to make a few new acquaintances along the way. As always, it all started with a conversation about food! These encounters and the shared passion for cuisine have deepened my love for what I do. We were reminded of the beauty of the world around us and the simple pleasures of life.
Now, I return a few more stories to share at my Supper Club enriching our gatherings with fresh experiences and new friendships. Stay tuned for date announcement on my instagram swaadbynitin & website
